We admire the incredible work of caregivers worldwide. GE Healthcare Command Centers help caregivers with every day patient care as well as crises, like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two New COVID-19 Tiles to Support Providers

To help with the pandemic, GE Healthcare built and deployed new COVID-19 Command Center Tiles (decision-support apps).

Infectious Disease Tile

The Infectious Disease Tile helps to ensure COVID-19 patients are matched with critical and usually scarce resources and detects various risks and opportunities in Real Time.

Critical Resources Tile

The Critical Resources Tile helps manage ICUs, negative pressure beds, and ventilators across hospitals in a region.

Oregon's COVID Capacity Center

As Oregon prepared for mounting COVID-19 case numbers and pressure on its hospital systems at the beginning of the pandemic in the US – including medical personnel tasked with making critical care decisions – Oregon's COVID Capacity Center, developed on GE Healthcare technology, actively monitors Real Time hospital data to inform COVID-19 patient intake and care.

The solution, which went live in just 13 days, is extensible outside of Oregon and able to be deployed rapidly to other hospital systems.
