GE HealthCare, Alliance Medical Partner to Boost Radiology Productivity

By making data available to healthcare staff for quick and accurate patient care decisions, the partnership between GE HealthCare and Alliance Medical will help improve the productivity of radiology teams in the UK.
The project aims to use innovation to help address issues caused by staffing shortages, easing clinician workload burdens and helping them to provide the best care possible.
GE’s Imaging Growth Tile, an AI decision-support app in the Command Centre Software Platform, will harmonize real-time data from across Alliance Medical sites to predict equipment use and suggest opportunities to optimize scheduling. This supports the efforts of radiology departments as they work to optimize operational productivity, drive care consistency, and facilitate virtual collaboration.
The initial agreement focuses on the UK but GE HealthCare and Alliance Medical plan to expand the model into other regions.
