Oregon Capacity System wins Silver Award

Based on excellence in design and engineering, as well as driving outcomes that improve healthcare delivery and accessibility, the Oregon Capacity System received a Silver award in the 2022 Medical Design Excellence awards in the Digital Health Products and Mobile Medical Apps category.

Developed specifically to address patient surges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Oregon Capacity System (OCS) is a statewide capacity and critical resource management system based on GE HealthCare's Command Center technology. Apprise Health Insights partnered with GE Healthcare to expand the system. With a federal grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Apprise Health Insights will lead the statewide deployment of the system.

Judging was based on five criteria:
