Oregon Health & Science University, GE set up state’s first virtual ICU program

Working with GE HealthCare as part of a multi-year agreement, Oregon Health & Science University set up the first virtual intensive care unit program in the state. The program extends the academic medical center’s critical care expertise across rural communities to expand the state’s ICU bed capacity.
Patients also benefit from receiving the high-quality critical care they need in their own community.
