For Tampa General Hospital (TGH), partnering with GE HealthCare to launch a command center has delivered measurable results. In the first two years after deploying CareComm, the 1006-bed hospital realized these benefits:

• Saved $40 million by reducing system-wide inefficiencies
• Reduced average length of stay by half a day
• Eliminated 20,000 excess days
• Reduced emergency room diversion by 25% for its level one trauma center
• Realized capacity management improvements that equate to 30 extra beds

With so much initial success, TGH plans to expand the command center capabilities to serve the entire Tampa General ecosystem, including ambulatory care, acute care, and physician practices.
