Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Innovators for 2022 recognizes leaders who are initiating change in healthcare. Candidates are reviewed by a panel of judges and Modern Healthcare’s top editors. This year’s elite innovators include GEHC's Command Center CEO Jeff Terry and one of our esteemed Command Center clients, John Couris, president and CEO of Tampa General Hospital (TGH).
Terry was recognized for his leadership of the development and deployment of Command Centers around the world. Command Centers use AI, algorithms, and predictive analytics to capture and aggregate data from across the enterprise and deliver actionable insights that improve daily hospital operations.
Couris and his team were recognized for introducing an innovative solution that enables them to collaborate with other health systems to manage bed capacity. This regional capacity management solution uses GE’s Command Center technology, which TGH calls CareComm.
