Open Positions:

Responsible for providing consulting services to a client and to help achieve business objective Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.
  • Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree related to Health Sciences
  • 80% Travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point

The salary range for this position is 64,000.00 - 97,200.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a variable incentive compensation. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.

The Analytics Consultant will work with clients and multi-disciplinary consulting teams and will possess strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem solving and experience with process improvement and statistical analysis. In addition, the candidate must be a self-starter with potential to lead.

The Analytics Consultant is responsible for delivery of productivity solutions for GE’s healthcare clients. Analytics Consulting is an exciting discipline combining traditional consulting with analytics disciplines such as data science, statistics, simulation and predictive modeling. Engagements follow a problem back approach, leveraging interviews and data mining to align clients around high-value problem statements, then designing targeted solutions to improve performance. Project types include designing efficient healthcare facilities, re-configuring existing capacity for patient throughput and experience, improving health system utilization and implementing real-time analytics in command centers to dynamically optimize coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support activities across engagement teams and provide any necessary support to the engagement team.
  • Assisting in the collection, validation and analysis of data to support engagement objectives.
  • Contributing to the planning and completion of high-quality engagement deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to the design and layout of analysis and in writing accurate reports to depict findings, contributing to the development of conclusions and recommendations.
  • Development of clear and insightful executive-level presentations.
  • Establishing credibility and develop relationships with mid-level client managers.
  • Serving as a professional representative of GE Healthcare in all public and client settings.
  • Participating in Knowledge Management activities as directed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Math or Statistics or related discipline.
  • Experience in outcome-based process improvement, change management.
  • Formal problem solving, logic.
  • Experience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseries forecasting, hypothesis testing using R, SAS or similar software.
  • Experience programming in Java, C# or similar production level language applied to data management, algorithms and automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Data management in SQL or Oracle, understanding of Data Mining principles and strategies.
  • Hands on experience with data visualization and dashboard development in Tableau, Qlik or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time.

  • Experience working in a healthcare provider / acute care setting.
  • Experience in UX/UI design.
  • Software: Sketch (iOS) or equivalent.

The Analytics Senior Consultant works with clients as part of a multi-disciplinary consulting team, contributing strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem solving and experience with workflow mapping, data mapping and statistical analysis. The candidate is a self-starter with the ability to lead.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Completing assigned activities in a timely way in coordination with other team members and the engagement objectives
  • Mapping client workflows via observation and interviews
  • Mapping data elements in the client source systems and assessing feasibility of use
  • Supporting configuration sessions with clients to fine tune each real-time application
  • Collaborating with clients to ensure necessary data fields are included in the specified format in interfaces provided by the client.
  • Performing validation testing prior to go-live to ensure real-time applications reflect reality
  • Leading the design and layout of data analysis, depicting findings and high value conclusions and recommendations, and writing accurate reports.
  • Developing clear and insightful executive-level presentations.
  • Establishing credibility quickly, developing deep client relationships and engaging with client stakeholders at all levels including executive-level sponsors and front-line caregiver teams.
  • Using sound judgement to solve moderately complex problems or tasks with client team or project team.
  • Serving as a professional representative of GE HealthCare in all public and client settings.
  • Participating in Knowledge Management activities as directed.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline.
  • Experience with data management in SQL or Oracle and understanding of data mining principles and strategies.
