Within two years of the launch in August 2019, the Command Center immediately has eliminated 20,000 excess days of hospitalization, added the equivalent of 30 beds of extra capacity, and saved 40 million dollars thanks to the reduction of system inefficiencies.

In addition to the applications that use artificial intelligence to improve day-to-day operations, the Command Center of the Tampa General Hospital has also created a " digital twin" that can project the flow of patients in the hospital, which is being used to reallocate nursing resources and optimize the surgical services.
